QUILLING GUILD EVENTS
Members of the Quilling Guild are kept regularly informed about upcoming events which include both regional get-togethers and online meet-ups via Zoom, plus our Annual General Meeting that now also takes place online.
All these events are designed to give members the chance to meet other quillers, chat about what they are currently working on, share ideas, ask for advice, watch demonstrations and sometimes also to participate in hands-on workshops. They are great opportunities to socialise as well!
Our online meet-ups are particularly popular, since they allow quillers to come together, no matter where they live in the world. Usually a theme is set beforehand just to get the conversation started, but the talk in these friendly and informal events soon seems to gather a momentum of its own!
The Quilling Guild also supports local groups to open up one of their regular face-to-face get-togethers to other Guild members as one-off events throughout the year. These may be simple 'quill together' sessions, or can include demonstrations, workshop activities, displays or challenges. Each event is different. Wherever possible, the Guild funds the cost of venue hire for these events, and also provides support in respect of insurance and promotion.

In addition, we also now have an annual residential 'retreat' for quillers at Dunster in Somerset which allows members to stay and quill together in idyllic surroundings over a period of four days. Please click on the 'Dunster' link in our main menu sidebar for more information.
